Size: 26/28-29/31-32/34-35/37-38/40-42/44
Foot length: 17 - 18 - 20 - 22 - 24 - 27 cm
Materials: DROPS ESKIMO from Garnstudio
100-100-100-100-150-150 g colour no 24, yellow.
DROPS POINTED NEEDLES size 6 mm - or size needed to get 13 sts x 17 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
GARTER ST (back and forth on needle): K all rows.
RIGHT SLIPPER:
Worked back and forth on needle, beg with the strap over the foot.
Cast on 3 sts on needle size 6 mm with Eskimo. K 2 rows.
Size 38/40-42/44 only: On next row inc 1 st each side of the middle st with 1 YO. K YO into back of loop on return row = 3-3-3-3-5-5 sts.
All sizes: Continue in GARTER ST - see above – for 7-7-8-9-9-10 cm. On next row inc 1 st inside outermost st each side with 1 YO. K YO into back of loop on return row = 5-5-5-5-7-7 sts. Cut the thread and slip sts on a stitch holders. Cast on 3-4-5-6-6-6 sts (towards the toes), work in sts from stitch holder and cast on 6-7-8-9-10-12 new sts (towards heel) = a total of 14-16-18-20-23-25 sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE! K 1 row on all sts and work next row as follows from RS: K2 in each of the first 3-4-5-5-5-5 sts, K remaining sts= 17-20-23-25-28-30 sts.
K 2-2-2-4-4-4 rows on all sts.
Work next row as follows from WS: 2 garter sts, P2, * K2 in next st, P2 *, repeat from *-* a total of 3-4-5-5-6-6 times and finish with 4-4-4-6-6-8 garter sts = 20-24-28-30-34-36 sts. Continue in rib and garter sts each side like this. When piece measures 15-16-17-18-19-20 cm work next row from RS as follows: 4-4-4-6-6-8 garter sts, * K2, P2 tog *, repeat from *-* until 4 sts remain, K2 and 2 garter sts = 17-20-23-25-28-30 sts. K 3-3-3-5-5-5 rows on all sts, and work next row as follows from RS: K2 tog on the first 6-8-10-10-10-10 sts, work remaining sts on row = 14-16-18-20-23-25 sts. Cast off loosely with K sts on next row.
LEFT SLIPPER:
Like right slipper until the strap is finished = 5-5-5-5-7-7 sts. Cut the thread and slip sts on a stitch holder.
