Daisy Loom - apparatus with flowers
This small apparatus, appeared in the Seventies, did not lose anything of its value because it is easy to handle, changeable, and extrèmement rapid. You will be able to thus create shawls, cushions, covers, accessories and clothing with the speed of the flash. Only some concepts of hook are necessary for the assembly of the flowers: net in air (ml), cast mesh (mc), tight mesh (ms) and attaches simple (Br). The model more the current is round, but the square is used in the same way.
The flowers are usually carried out with fine wool or cotton to be hooked and the hook employed is N. 3.
Technique
Pose the loom has flat on a table, box 1 placed towards outside compared to you; maintain it in place with the left hand and take the right hand-spun yarn after having fixed the end in the slit practised on the edge of box 7 quis, while working on the points external of the loom, pass the wire across the apparatus, of box 7 with box 1, roll up it around the point to come in box 12.

Repeat these various operations 2, 3, 4 times etc all around the same points according to the number of loops wished for each petal or according to the size of wire used. While working in the direction reverses aigulles of a watch, and on the same principle, form huits on all the points; for the following, pass from box 7 in box 2, of box 2 with box 1, box 1 with box 7, box 7 with box 8, box 8 with box 2 to close the eight.
Progressively work, make swivel the loom in the direction of the needles of a watch in order to always have in front of oneself the two points on which you form the eight; maintain the various loops from this eight at the base of each point using the inch and major left.
One can form a heart with this flower or carry out smaller flowers while working in the same way on the interior points of the apparatus.
Cut the wire by leaving approximately 40 cm to review stop of the flower of the heart. Swelled the wire in a needle with point foams and pass to it dand below the heart of the flower of top. Emphasize the wire between two petals and made around each one a back point (pass the wire on the petal and emphasize it after the following petal).

Form the petals while passing 3 times the mauve wire around the points external of the round loom. For the heart, pass 10 times the yellow wire around the interior points. Stop the center with the yellow wire. Cut wire of the heart of them two to form the pompom.

Form the petals while passing 5 times of the wire gold around the points external of the round loom. For the heart, pass 5 times of the wire money around the interior points. Stop the center with the wire money. Divide the petals in two. This flower is to apply.

Border a first flower as follows: + 1 ms in a petal, 5 ml + (12 fs), close by 1 mc in the prem. ms. Take one 2. flower, make 1 ms in a petal, 1 mc in 1 ms of the prem. flower, 5 ml, 1 ms in the petal suiv. of the 2. flower, 1 mc in the petal suiv. of the prem. flower.
Continue to border the 2. flower: close by 1 mc in the prem. ms Take one 3. flower, border as indicated it for the 2 flowers précéd., all in the ratt. with these 2 flowers; ratt. 2 petals of this flower to the 2 petals of the prem. and with the 2 petals of the 2. which precede the prem. not by fastener makes between the prem. and 2. flower.
Each nouv. flower is ratt. with 2 flowers précéd. on the same principle and by 4 petals.
In quincunx, relief
